Looks really nice. As someone who just found out about Milkdown and Prosemirror through this post could you clarify what this adds over prosemirror-markdown? Would it be hard to be able to do the "switch to markdown" thing they do in this example? https://prosemirror.net/examples/markdown/ https://prosemirror.net/examples/markdown/
I'm thinking about using something like this but would require a custom markdown extension. Would that be easier with Milkdown because it uses markdown-it?
- mirone 5y agoI think it would be easy since we already have `listener` and `defaultValue`, maybe I should write an example.
- kasbah 5y agoNot sure what you mean by that, but yes, would be interested in an example. More generally, what inspired you to make this, what did you feel is missing from prosemirror-markdown? What does this do differently or better?
- mirone 5y agoMarkdown is great and can be easily used and saved, but writing markdown needs learning. I want to help people who is not very familiar with markdown to use it.
