I didn’t skip the line, but I don’t fault anyone who did (in the US) after the vaccination criteria was expanded beyond the elderly and a the immunocompromised. The vaccine hesitancy rates in some communities were absurdly high. The justifications given for not vaccinating were equally ridiculous and uninformed. In that environment it’s completely morally justified to jump ahead.
