If you are in America, you are not paying 60% of your incoming to taxes. No one pays that in America. What bugs me about the discussion of taxes in this country are the vast swaths of Americans who think they pay 40%, 50% or 60% taxes. If you are paying 45% or more, you need a new CPA.
