If we do move to our glorious 100% remote future, then why should colleges be any different? Why should students, who unlike workers don't even earn money, spend a significantly higher premium than workers pay to work in a big city, for the buildings and other auxiliary stuff that colleges have, when they can just take those classes from home remotely, and pay a fraction of the costs.
