Could the entire core of a planet get cold enough to superconduct... and if so could it interact in odd ways with the parent star's magnetic field?
- nemacol 5y agoOOohh hrm. might take a long time but I can't imagine why it couldn't happen. Dead core and little to no radioactive material in the planet. Not sure magnetic fields reach between planets, but between a planet and a moon? Got me thinking about it again.
