The problem is our govt money is subsidizing private company security policies instead of more directly helping people. This money should go to healthcare, infrastructure, or even be redistributed before it's used here.
- kube-system 5y agoWe fund the police and military with our tax dollars to prevent bad actors from doing bad things that we don’t want. Why is this different?

- shshdueisn 5y agoProviding security and protecting property is one of the core functions of the state. Police protect businesses. The US Navy protects shipping lanes. I do not understand why this particular case could be so objectionable.
