When I go to log into Gmail I get “Unknown Error”
Firefox 58, OpenBSD. I know old software is bad, yada yada, but can we not break stuff like log in prompts? I have wasted over an hour today trying to log into my email. I enter the user name, then click next, and then the web page returns "Unknown Error" from google. What the hell? Yet another reason not to use google products. In about 20 years of using web mail services I have never been prevented from logging in by an "unknown error."
- sarcasmatwork 5y agoTry another browser?
- morpheos137 5y agoTried iridium same problem.
- sarcasmatwork 5y agoClear cache, delete all temp files.... Never heard about that browser. Try Chrome/Brave? Try incognito mode. You're using OpenBSD, may want to jump into their forums... Good luck.
- gregjor 5y agoI get the same thing with Netscape Navigator 1.8 on Windows Me. How can Google not know what the error is? Does “unknown” refer to the error, or to me? I feel like I am “known” so this feels like bullying.
