This makes me think of the “What time is it right now?” website from Bojack Horseman. It feels a bit odd to incorporate this into Twitter when I can use a built-in weather app on my phone, or a separate app that I like the UI for, or Siri, or Google, etc
- doublerabbit 5y agoFeels like more like a dirty data-grab to me. "Weather App: where do you live" "Nebraska" And there you go Twitter now has your state. I wouldn't be surprised that twitter already knows where you live; more meta, more money.
