There was a similar situation in the Netherlands. Normally stamp tax is 2%, but for a few months this year it was 0% for people buying their first apartment. Today I talked to agent that helped me buy my place and I asked him whether the prices finally plateaued since that tax incentive is gone now. He said they didn't, the demand is still so high that prices keep growing, even in Amsterdam where they're already very high.
