I have 10+ years of experience building and managing software projects. I thrive in roles where I can architect solutions, prototype, and bring ideas from concept to prototype to production. I love interacting with customers using the product, as I find the user feedback loop extremely fulfilling. I also enjoy full-stack engineering projects that involve more than just slapping a React UI on top of a GraphQL API (not that there's anything fundamentally wrong with it :) I'm not big on specific languages or frameworks, as they can be learned by most competent engineers in a short amount of time.
- wodenokoto 5y agoHow is it like working in Seoul? I see you are looking for remote job, but I am wondering if you are/were working onsite and if you have any insight to give someone interested in moving to Korea.
- ammmir 5y agoI've mostly consulted and worked with companies based outside of Korea, so I can't speak to onsite experience personally. If you're wondering about work-life balance, in which Korea has a poor track record in general, it's going to vary wildly based on the team. The best is to try to get recruited from outside of Korea if you're looking to join a larger company. The startup scene is vibrant, too. It's hard to give general advice without knowing your motivations, but feel free to drop me an email and I'll be happy to offer any advice :)
