I use a paper notebook, and put notes in it every day. I mark which ones need to be shared with colleagues and at the end of the day I put these in confluence. I put todo lists on a fresh page and then continue writing notes. I usually put them in 2 columns, one for short term tasks, in order, and one for longer term tasks. When the page is full, or many tasks are crossed off, or I just need to reprioritize or I need to break down a task into smaller pieces, I rewrite the todo list on the next new page. It helps me to plan my work in a way that I could never seem to do with Todoist. It’s also nice to use for in person meetings and a good portion of my work can be done in sketches, which is a break from screens.
