I agree. If you want a stripped down Windows use Windows 10 LTSC. It's everything anyone wants from Windows without any of the cruft. I'm a Linux person but when I installed LTSC for my wife all her complaints about sudden reboots and other unwanted behavior evaporated. Makes you wonder why they bother with any other Windows.
