$1 billion / $42k =
24,000 homeless people? Wow, seems high.
Nah. Internet search says 8,000. But let’s assume 24k based on the calculations.
Population of SF: 875k
Note that percent homeless in US: 0.2%
Percent of homeless in SF: almost 3%? Or 10 times worse than US average?
If that’s true, then it sounds like SF needs a new mayor and a new city council.
