I am curious. What makes you think requirement is non-optional?
- Pet_Ant 5y agoBecause otherwise you can structure your own laws to dump externalities on other parties, other they can do it to you. So either you end up playing an unsustainable game of whack a mole craft laws in response... or you need to come to an agreement. It's really the only sane choice.
- zenron 5y agoWhy do you think these are the only tools at a governing body's disposal? It seems myopic to me that you think we have to agree to a unified tax to be the only sane choice. You've given no other choice. Global minimum tax won't work the way you think unless there is a concurrent currency reset... oh wait....
