- rchaud 5y agoContent that's valuable has already shifted to other mediums/media: newsletters, Telegram channels, video courses, webinars, Discord etc. The age of good, free content is gone. Less than 10 years ago you could read every major newspaper (barring FT/WSJ) online for free. No paywall, no article limit. Those days are long gone, and the pageviews that went to them are now going to less reputable pubs that don't do their own journalism and just write 'takes' on what other big publications are saying. The Internet as we know it has become a bottomless landfill of non-original, third-hand information, written by non-experts either trying to position themselves as thought leaders, book authors or speakers at your next conference.
