TikTok is an onboarding platform as well. It is being used as a place for people to advertise other wares and services they offer.
And that algorithm is very effective. It's like Google in the 2000's: nobody really knows how it works, and so they can't duplicate it.
- theshrike79 5y agoIt seems that advertisers have figured out the "look" of TikTok ads more so than any other platform. Many times I've accidentally watched 5-10 seconds of an ad before I figure out it's an actual ad and not user generated content.
