I just want to chime in and mention that I’ve been using an old version of Chromium with the trapezoid tabs for years now and nothing bad has happened yet. Not updating isn’t as big a deal as people make it sound, especially if you use ublock origin and some common sense when browsing.
- vlmutolo 5y agoHow would you know if something had happened? Are you constantly monitoring your network traffic? Who's to say that you haven't had data exfiltrated from your machine, or that you haven't participated in a botnet somewhere?
- PascLeRasc 5y agoThe only issues that I'd care about are: having money stolen from me and having my social media profiles hijacked. So far I haven't noticed that happen. I don't care if anything else happens.
