So much potential... it's hard to know what this becomes. I could imagine online service providers like a hosting provider etc. might start to integrate. After all this would have 2FA and be administered by an authority that can actually verify who I am when access needs to be recovered. Long term, maybe the EU could do a cheap micro payment system, one can dream :)
