I cannot imagine computing without web equivalent for mobile apps which often collect unnecessary data and on-average users are powerless to do anything about it. Worst are the mobile only applications, Hence applications like Clubhouse can get away with using mobile number as identifier. Not that I miss using Clubhouse on web, But just an example of what no-web computing looks like.
