There are far too many "official site" links for me to think it's manual... I know DDG does deep indexing of Wikipedia, perhaps it's using the target of the "Official website" link at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jquery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jquery?
Edit: Yeah, I think that's the case. These searches don't show the "Official Site" badge: http://ddg.gg/?q=jenkins+ci http://ddg.gg/?q=jenkins+ci http://ddg.gg/?q=hudson+ci http://ddg.gg/?q=hudson+ci, but these do: http://ddg.gg/?q=jenkins+software http://ddg.gg/?q=jenkins+software http://ddg.gg/?q=hudson+software http://ddg.gg/?q=hudson+software
Compare those queries to the name of the wikipedia pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenkins_(software) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenkins_(software) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hudson_(software) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hudson_(software)
- dlikhten 15y agoYou are probably right. Hes probably comparing search terms to wiki information and then looking for homepage info on wikipedia. You know what, thats good enough for me.
