The claim that Facebook is suppressing Palestinian and Black activism is hard to reconcile with the fact that America has never been more supportive of Palestinian and Black activism than it has in the past, and the theatre of these activists' operation is largely social media.
- happytoexplain 5y agoI have no opinion on whether Facebook is blocking or not blocking something, but this is a pretty big - and common - fallacy. "Never been more X" has nothing to do with "is X". And even if X is true, and social media is a significant theater for X, that has no bearing on whether Facebook blocks X.
