We’re still pretty heavy email users at work. In fact, my job is mostly email and Teams messages. In my personal life, I have an email archive dating back to ~2000, which has me wallowing in nostalgia from time to time. Email still has its place. Sometimes there’s no need for synchronous chat - IM just doesn’t seem the correct medium when typing out ~500+ characters.
