It is one of the worries I heard most, I am intending to make a video soon. I have been using it for months now myself and use it daily in different co-working and cafes and I haven't had any problems. I still carry a next stand with me to show people the difference, and funny enough, the roost/next stand have more 'risk' falling of the end of the table (the back feet stick out, and because of their design you might be prone to push your laptop further out and pushing the legs over the edge). The wider stance of the next and roost do make it more stable on paper, but I haven't noticed any difference in practice.
