Does no one give any thought to what they are doing? At the very best this system can only make predictions on what it has seen. It cannot validly assess a truly new idea. It _can't_ by definition. So if this is used say for deciding funding, this will exacerbate the existing problems. So wrong-headed an idea it's embarrassing it's treated as science.
