Always seems like the strongest opinions on AI come from those with the weakest backgrounds in the subject.
- andyxor 5y agoyou're not wrong, most of the talk about dangers of AI comes from opinionated AI dilettantes like Musk who then throw millions of dollars on pointless "AI safety" initiatives. I just hope some of that money would trickle down to fundamental research into inner workings of common sense.
