I found out that my ISP, which was bought out several times, is folding service in my area. Goodbye, some co-lo. And so now I have to make the choice between Charter and AT&T. This seems like a no brainer but I need an 8-block of static IPs (yes, I know about dynamic DNS and VPNs) and apparently you cannot get static IPs on a home fiber account with AT&T. I suppose I will have to pay, because my base feeling is anything but Charter.
