Ask HN: How Remove long gear pinion half of which is hollow space
How do we remove a small shaft (diameter 3-5 mm) gear pinion which is a bit long and having about halfway long space inside the hollow center, i.e. only such length it sticks into shaft?

- mardiyah 5y agosimple, just having it in our mind picture of the 1st, instead of the 2nd for the "normal" common ones, below - silencer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silencer_(firearm) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silencer_(firearm)) - finger ring so aggravating stumbling block is it can't almost even be found a gearing puller to pull it in such condition as the push contact is rather too 'hidden' or deep inside it, at least in my country haven't found such fulfilling tool in search for a day or so
