Amazon Introduces Tiny ‘ZenBooths’ for Stressed-Out Warehouse Workers
- Havoc 5y agoSurely just loosening the targets 10% would do more for stress
- breakingcups 5y agoShhh.. Such thoughts should be confined to the ZenBooths™
- rualca 5y agoThis dystopian initiative is more aptly described as a one-time expenditure that buys management some plausible deniability to the god-awful working conditions they subject workers.
- vnchr 5y agoThis seems like itself an inherently good thing. I don’t see how Amazon’s warehouse workers would be better off without it. Rather, the article framing and critical commentary thus far are focused on the other issues. Those issues withstanding, this still seems like a positive albeit minor fringe benefit for Amazon’s warehouse workers.
- lefrenchy 5y agoIt shouldn’t just be taken at face value, that’s a really shallow commentary. It should be put in context of the working conditions that led to this kind thing.
- Traubenfuchs 5y agoWho thought this was a good idea? Is this an „all publiciy is good publicity“ kind of thing? This is disgusting.
- krapp 5y agoAmazon hates the idea of associates being able to relax so much they had to build special booths to quarantine it, lest it spread.
