If you’re in the US, just put it on Craigslist. I have always been surprised about what people are willing to buy. I had an incredibly damaged couch that I was ready to throw in the dumpster, and a young dude happily gave me $100 and picked it up with his truck, with no effort from my part. I got rid of hundreds of items over the years on CL, and I don’t think I ever failed to sell any!
