So what is the price for such a system
- ants_a 5y ago2x$8k for the CPUs + 16x$2.2k for the drives + rest of the system >= $50k
- SkipperCat 5y agoWe've been using these systems for about 2 years now. We can put 32TB in a 1U box with dual Xeon Gold processors for a little under $20K. Our business is storing incoming market data and this architecture has allowed us to write bursts of up to 80 Gbps with ease. NVMes rock!
