Can Removing Highways Fix America’s Cities?
- pmastela 5y agoIt feels refreshing to see cities like Rochester, New York take on a rather large project in 2014 and complete it by 2021. Gives me hope that other cities can follow suit and be reborn as human first and car second.
- Someone 5y agoCame across the ironic comment on Twitter today “We tend to forget the intense bombing raid on Kansas City in the second world war”. That (https://twitter.com/lennartnout/status/1397893839038332928 https://twitter.com/lennartnout/status/1397893839038332928) was about a photo of part of Kansas City now, and, I guess, early twentieth century that shows how much work there is to do on this.
