It's funny, and hopefully not a false equivalence, to realize that three major news stories with geopolitical importance in the last two decades have in common the inability of the news media to penetrate the fog and challenge the establishment view early on. The three I mean are the Iraq intelligence debacle, the Trump-Russia collusion investigation, and now the Pandemic origin. Where are the truth-seeking journalists of yesteryear that made their profession proud?
