I moved to evenings over two years ago and I personally recommend it. For one thing, your mornings don't suck. Just get ready and go straight to work. Another thing is you stop associating exercise with "getting it out of the way" for the day. It stops being a negative experience and almost ends up becoming a hobby. The other thing I noticed is how limber I am. In the mornings, running and stretching were hard. My body isn't very warmed up, everything is still waking up, and not to mention motivation is at 0 basically. If I had a bad day, I'd exercise to help forget. If I had a good day, I'd exercise to remember the good things.
Overall remember my experiences were anecdotal. But I think everyone should give it a try. This is coming from someone that would also run 5k's at 11pm sometimes because I was working and a full time student and had to fit it in somewhere. But overall, I think doing what makes your schedule easiest is the best.
