There will always be an edge case that could result in a crash leading to a loss of life - don't think 99% is good enough that is why we won't have aircraft flying on autopilot all the time.
- osmarks 5y agoHumans are hardly perfect drivers either.
- tibbydudeza 5y agoNHTSA says the leading cause of accidents is driver distraction , speeding and drunk/drugs , would rather solve those problems which are far more attainable than an actual level 5 car.
