- cmollis 5y agoyeah.. I really don't see why everyone gets so bent about it. I can certainly understand the cognitive load of learning essentially all of the features so you can find the ones that work.. but really, picking a set of features that work (and ignoring possibly better techniques) seems to true for all languages. Java, Python, etc.. map.filter.reduce.. is better than for loops, but I still see those. C++ has a LOT of features and 40 years of both advancement in the language, as well as strong third-party library development.. so, compared to something like Go, it's a bit daunting to use.
