Show HN: Noixer, an Ambient Noise Mixer
- stuaxo 5y agoVery nice. It would be great if users could save their own presets. Hit a button and have a new entry appear in the list, that they can edit the name of. Being able to control these via MIDI would be really cool too. Can imagine using an MIDI controller to start/stop these or use physical sliders to control the sliders on here.
- abetusk 5y agoOK, presets are enabled. I'm not sure how to do 'share' other than just having people copy the link. The presets are stored in the 'localStorage' in case people want to save them on their individual browser. The list is also rudimentary...just add and clear, with the only possibility of naming the preset on the initial save. The 'load' button at the top is there for shared presets as auto-play is finicky on different sites (specifically github.io). It's probably a bit confusing but the reward to effort curve is quickly turning against me. If you really want MIDI control, let me know and I'll look into it.
