Naming streets after people who are still alive (not to mention under 30) is nonsensical in principle. Make no mistake - I do hope that Protasevich gets released, and I have no sympathy for the regime whatsoever... but there's absolutely no telling what his further life trajectory would be like, and the street name would be there to stay. (It's obviously not guaranteed "forever"; but that's usually the intention, the principle. Street names are not meant for temporary tributes or announcements)
