What amazes me is that so many people, including our venerable PG, are so good at identifying groupthink and orthodoxies, are sure they aren't part of those things, and yet see orthodoxies and groupthink threateningly hovering everywhere. And, the articles keep getting upvoted, by popular demand. So clearly a lot of people also think this way!
