First of all, well done on getting this far. I've had several goes at writing a book and never got this far. Writing a book is really hard! Some brief feedback though on the first chapter. I thought the writing style was fine for this genre but I didn't really understand what it was that would make me move onto the next chapter. I wonder if you're holding back just a bit too much of what is so special about the content of the trucks. Maybe it just needs a bit more to draw the reader in?
