I think the other comments have notes about the market cap, but wanted to add another detail I found. Vimeo's annual revenue is $200 million [1] or so. It's not profitable yet. Meanwhile, Youtube brings in $20 billion a year [2] for Google. I didn't realize how big the disparity was, but Youtube is 100x (!) the size of Vimeo at least in terms of revenue.
