I hope Snowden receives pardon and comes back to his home country. Two presidents have already left office and I was hoping Trump did that. Snowden is a whistleblower and he needs protection since his report to Washington Post was done in good faith.
- JohnWhigham 5y agoWho knows if he ever will. I was curious how Daniel Ellsberg got off, and apparently he was tried, but it was the judge that dropped the charges due to how egregious the federal government's actions were in the Vietnam Papers leak. It wasn't the executive branch doing it. I wonder if it wasn't for that stalwart judge, if Ellsberg would still be rotting away in a prison.
- lupire 5y agoI can't imagine him getting a pardon until the President/Executive stops doing what was whistleblown.
