PyFLAC: Real-time lossless audio compression in Python
- ovennell 5y agoI still do not understand how the FLAC compression algorithm with LFE content can be effective at compression level 2. The technique that "mid-side encoding" poses is interesting because it does not affect the processing blocks, it should be the primary option in streaming services. Implementing real-time audio delivery sounds promising without the need for post-processing from disk.
