Look, I'm not exactly an expert. Tel Aviv was hit somewhat badly, one of the worst, but not the absolute worst. Mostly because most of the population here was somewhat more serious about social distancing / etc. Or rather, there were several other cities that were really really not careful (mostly religious areas). Tel Aviv also got vaccinated fairly fast compared to other places. At least that's my impression.
