"Divisive" is exactly how I'd describe it. "like walking into an old woman's kitchen used over a lifetime of cooking." That was pretty close to my wife's reaction. It reminded her of her childhood in her grandmother's kitchen. She loved it. I didn't. I won't put it in food that I serve to guests unless I knew they're adventurous.
