- Proven 5y agoYou use the roads, traffic lights, and so on just like everyone else - pay the damn tax! What's ridiculous is that they haven't paid it so far while constantly posting fake news about the supposed cost superiority of electric vehicles. Same tax for everyone, let's go! (As incredible as it sounds, one of the justifications for not paying EV excise tax is that gasoline excise is spent on stuff other than road maintenance. Have those clowns posted any articles asking that gasoline excise be cancelled? Of course not - they'd surely like to have it increased, especially if that would translate into them paying lower EV excise taxes. Socialist parasites.)
- eucryphia 5y agoBloke whingeing about being forced to pay 2.5c/litre tax on his fancy electric car, is fine with taxing the poor $7 billion a year to subsidise his preferred solar and wind power.
