I mean, I’ve been corrected on a false claim before (I claimed that the medical industry was going to charge an arm and a leg for the covid vaccine; I was completely, completely wrong) and I felt pretty chastised by the experience. I resolved to be more responsible about checking facts and making assumptions. But we have good mods on hacker news. Maybe that’s what Twitter needs too?
