> Yes. For the life of me I don't know why we passed Q's test in TNG. Because in that universe, we eventually grew beyond trying to acquire wealth. Somewhat ironic given our current phase of ever-increasing divides between rich and poor. But it's also worth remembering, that version of humanity saw the worst things that some of our current paths are or may lead us towards (Genetically Engineered Dictators, Nuclear war, putting economically challenged people in a compound so the rest of society doesn't have to think about them). It's what we do with our choices that determine whether we pass or fail.
