I wish there was a "donation links" feature similar to this, that supported recurring donations. There are a lot of companies like DonorBox that offer this but shave a decent percentage off the top of every donation which is hard on non-profits.
PayPal has a donation link feature, but PayPal stinks in every possible other way.
- jackerman 5y agoWe're excited to build donations support via Stripe Payment Links. Drop me a note at jackerman@stripe.com and I'll let you know as soon as it is live.
- rorygibson 5y agoHi! Late to the party, but this is exactly the kind of problem that my startup, Trolley, solves. Warning: shameless plug. It's a no-code shopping cart that works with Stripe. We offer Donations that work as you describe. You could check it out - https://trolley.link https://trolley.link (you can email me direct at rg@trolley.link if you want to know anything more)
- agildehaus 5y agoYou take 2% off the top of what Stripe already takes. No different from DonorBox. You mention on your website that there are discounts for non-profits, but I assume it's not 100%. The idea is that if Stripe offers it, they won't take anything off what they already take.
