And unfortunately millions of years in human eye blinks.
- rexreed 5y agoWe are but fruit fly lifespans in the grand schemes of the universe. We will be here and then gone and the earth will rotate away. All our damage to the ecosystem will be folded in like the asteroid that impacted tens of millions of years ago and we'll be fossils for others to discover. I wonder what they'll make of our cryptocurrency farms.
- havelhovel 5y agoWell in the meantime I derive enjoyment from the animals and plants around me and believe this finding helps explain why similarly present-minded folks should be concerned about the survival of what remains.
