To be clear I've lived in SF Bay Area for 10+ years and I've also traveled extensively/lived in other world class cities. SF really is a more expensive shithole. It doesn't mean there aren't any charms but anyone who doesn't acknowledge SF's shortfalls vs. other top cities is in complete denial.
